What You’ll Do:

As our Paslode Trade Specialist you will:

Make a difference: In this role, you will be working closely with our major customers’ and brand partners trade representatives, facilitating end user conversions through cold calling, trade events and by making in-field joint sales calls that support strategic account plans in conjunction with the field sales team. The Territory is based all over Victoria.

Innovate and solve problems: Understand the overall offer of our range of products and services from an end user perspective, eliminating price comparison, focussing on overall benefit, positioning our products. You will Listen and seek to understand end user needs, wants and objections.

Collaborate: Understand existing and potential customer applications, pain points and impacts and can demonstrate products on-site. Build relationships with end users to Defend and Extend loyalty to Paslode brand. Develop brand partnership opportunities with identified companies by building relationships and directly promoting Paslode for specific applications.

Continuous Improvement: Deliver value proposition through presentations and hands-on training both in store and on-site, closing the loop between us, the channel and the end user. Develop Strategic Account Plans in selected channel partners working with the field sales team to deliver

What You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in the identification of new product/service/market opportunities
  • Self-motivated, energetic and have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of the team.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through self and others, hold self-accountable and be agile to course correct when required
  • Development and implementation of strategic account plans
  • Ability to build strong commercial and industry relationships
  • Strong communication and technical aptitude
  • Commitment to driving a safety culture and continuous improvement
