Our Key Account Manager will ensure the Paslode value proposition is delivered to channel partners within designated market/channel in order to ensure sustainable, profitable and long-term growth through market gain and robust strategic account plans.

Location – Melbourne

The Impact You’ll Make;

  • Role model ITW’S business model and Entrepreneurial Culture
  • Demonstrating an aggressive growth mindset to lead development and implementation of growth initiatives developing Strategic Account Plans for each customer
  • Work with the sales leaders to achieve sales target by collaborating with and leveraging/influencing internal and external resources to support execution and delivery of sales initiatives;
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data and sources to analyse and identify insights that drive both tactical and strategic decision making eg. Space planning/category management, outlooking, MRD etc.;
  • Achieve win / win for ITW & Customer – Negotiate terms including rebates, price, volumes, promos, growth incentives etc.;
  • Identify and facilitate right customer/stakeholders and multi-level relationships (head office, cross functional, 80’s end users, competitors) to deliver outcomes for ITW; and
  • Support development of annual and long-range segment plans (financial, resource and pacing that drive sustainable long-term growth).
  • Play a key leadership role within the broader sales function

About you:

  • Business degree or equivalent preferred;
  • Retail/construction industry experience considered beneficial but certainly not essential;
  • Proven capability to deliver sales targets and results through data-driven problem solving and relationship management;
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills and development and implantation of strategic account plans;
  • Strong communication and technical aptitude;
  • Commitment to driving a safety culture and continuous improvement;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Curious and willing to challenge the status quo; and
  • Can make a positive impact on the culture of the business
