The Impact You’ll Make;

Are you passionate about skills development and coaching? Join the ITW Offsite Business Unit as a Technical Trainer! You will be instrumental in developing the internal capability of Detailers and Estimators for an 80’s customer, ensuring the team works efficiently and in alignment with best practices. This role focuses on conducting skills assessments, delivering tailored on-the-job coaching, and developing training programs in collaboration with Learning & Development (L&D) teams and will be 100% focused on this key 80's customer.

  • Evaluate the skills and capabilities of Detailers and Estimators to identify individual training needs.
  • Develop and deliver customised training and development plans aligned with ITW’s ways of working, considering regional variations.
  • Communicate individual development plans with Detailing Team Leaders.
  • Provide guidance to leadership to ensure training plans are implemented and reinforced effectively.
  • Deliver coaching for team members needing intensive support, including new employees or those learning Pryda software.
  • Plan and execute training sessions for both detailing and estimating functions.
  • Assist team members in applying new Pryda software features and maintaining up-to-date knowledge.
  • Collaborate with L&D teams to design comprehensive training programs covering all product offerings (roof, floor, and wall systems).
  • Identify and resolve recurring issues stemming from detailing errors through targeted training initiatives.

About You;

  • 5+ years of Frame and Truss Detailing experience.
  • Knowledge of Pryda Build software (highly desirable).

Skills & Experience;

  • Proven experience in the truss and frame industry (roof, wall, and floor systems).
  • Strong stakeholder influencing skills and ability to foster collaboration.
  • Expertise in skills development processes and delivering tailored training solutions.
  • Ability to assess organizational needs and implement impactful training programs.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring to drive team performance.
