The Impact You’ll Make;

The Business Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of Pryda/ITW's detailing operations. This position involves implementing and advancing processes and practices across the company, managing the development of people, liaising with stakeholders, and coordinating customer needs in collaboration with the Fabricator leadership team. The role also involves monitoring the performance of the detailing operation and output to ensure all metrics are met or exceeded.

  • Work collaboratively with the Fabrication Solutions Manager and management team to ensure profitability and achievement of set targets
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices for organisational well-being
  • Contribute to strategic plans and reviews by providing operations information and recommendations
  • Supply high service levels to clients by ensuring adherence to set rules and service standards
  • Oversee the financial performance of the Manila operation
  • Develop, update, enhance, enforce, and evaluate company policies and procedures
  • Review and approve operational invoices, track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels
  • Achieve agreed employee competence and satisfaction targets
  • Implement training and development plans and facilitate various training programs
  • Organise activities promoting company culture and employee engagement

About You;

  • University graduate, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management, or related courses (essential)
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management position, particularly in Operations/Administration
  • Demonstrated effective people management, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Efficient in budgeting and resource allocation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build strong rapport at various levels, internally and externally
  • Excellent conflict management and business negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to make sensible and timely decisions
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment, demonstrating a strong consultative approach
  • Above-average computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.
