About The Role:

Join our dynamic Concrete Systems team as a Business Development Manager, roll up your sleeves and unleash your previous building or construction sales experience to a new opportunity.

In this role, you will be responsible for growing sales for our Ramset brand in Queensland, primarily through a network of distribution partners. Working in collaboration with state-based engineers and end-user sales representatives you will develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive profitable sales growth.

Ideally you will be based in Brisbane to access growth opportunities. There will be some regional travel where required. Tools of trade, including a fully maintained vehicle are provided.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies to deliver QLD sales targets and objectives,
  • Develop an intimate understanding of QLD markets including sales opportunity, competitors, products (value proposition), key distribution partners and large commercial construction contractors to ensure alignment of sales plans and sales activity.
  • Identify and understand the commercial construction landscape in QLD including Specifiers, Consultants, Developers, Contractors, Industry bodies, and the development of relationships with state-based engineers and end user sales representatives.
  • Maintain and grow sales with an established network of distributors and channel end user sales opportunities and leads back to distribution partners where appropriate.
  • In conjunction with state-based colleagues, early identification of major project opportunities and key contractors, ensuring that the Ramset market offer is communicated and presented to key stakeholders.
  • Develop annual and long-range plans for the QLD Ramset business, including strategic growth initiatives (new customers, channel development strategy, new products and promotions) and execute to enable delivery of financial targets and growth outcomes as required.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in selling products, solutions and services to the concrete construction industry (or related);
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver strategic specification and/or sales objectives;
  • Strong communication, mechanical and strategic aptitude;
  • Demonstrated ability to create demand for construction products through identification and engagement of all key stakeholders in the decision making process;
  • Strong relationship, commercial acumen and project management skills;
  • Commitment to driving a safety culture and continuous improvement; and
